I don't know why, but i've always liked this kind of plane, a p-38 Lightning... They were reputedly horrible to try to fly but something about them looks cool...  |

the famous Sopwith Camel... I believe it was one of these that brought down the infamous Baron Von Richtofen... alias the Red Baron.  it's also the kind of plane Snoopy supposedly flies when he's fantasizing about taking on the Red Baron as the famous World War I flying ace... |
