Carpeted flooring with pipes underneath means it's pretty warm! Not that I could fall out of this bed anyway as it's so low that you could basically roll onto the floor from it, especially when my usual bed has two matresses so I'm basically in the sky there. carpeted bedroom floor sounds wonderful... I love it, especially considering I had hardwood floors last year which were so much nicer looking but they were so ridiculously cold that you literally couldn't go without socks ever, even in the summer |

We had a point last year where I was actually about 2 degrees indoors and you could see your breath and I had to run my hairdryer to stay warm. It was not comfortable to say the least! |

Hope you didn't have to deal with it too long Only a year, with a flatmate who would only let me run the heating for half an hour a day  It could have been a really beautiful flat but the landlord clearly didn't care for it and my flatmate did stuff like that which made it hard to enjoy when you're having to wear coats to bed lol |

I've told everyone not to live in his properties, which I've done more now considering I found out that one of my current flatmate's boyfriend lived above us (he even had the bedroom above mine which is super weird) and they had the exact same problems we had. Landlords in the student areas of Glasgow can get away with being crap sadly because there's such high demand for housing! |

They had these two cat sculpture type things that I would use as decorations (in the pictures below) at a boutique type shop that is closing down sadly and they only have sales up to 25% off so far, and my mom said it’s not worth it and she would get them only if they were 50% off. So I sadly put them back, but I tried to hide them sort of. I put them behind a pillow on the bottom shelf of a shelf thing where there were camping related stuff was together there. I figured that if I left them in the cat stuff area that someone might buy them (but I left the white one I saw last time there and no one seemed to buy it). There actually was only the white one there the last time I was in there with my mom a few weeks ago (the first time we had been there since they announced they were closing), and they had a black one all of a sudden too yesterday (being as it’s past 1 AM here now). I hope that no one sees them or moves them. I think they’re hopefully well hidden, as long as no one moves the pillow and bends down to look at the bottom shelf and sees them. If it’s meant to be it will be and I will get both of them. I am going to watch the ’Facebook’ page of the store for when everything is finally all 50% off and I want to race back there to get the two cats! *Cue the chorus of ’Back For You’ by One Direction.* lol The stupid store overpriced everything anyways, it’s so pathetic. The cats in the store have a sticker price of $47.99 and they’re $35 at the website I found the above pictures from, so they’re still not worth it if they’re only 25% off at the store... |

If I could decorate my room how I want, I’d paint 3 walls lilac and the 4th wall would have a statement wallpaper piece on it. I’d put up a few tour posters, too. I have a few Taylor ones but for some reason I’ve never thought to put them up. I have a vanity so I’d probably get a little stool for it, too, and then maybe I could get a light to attach to the mirror if I ever wanted to put on makeup. I have these ugly white storage organizers so I’d probably toss those out and get something more sturdier. I’m not sure though since my bedroom is technically the office so it’s on the smallish side.

I ended up getting these two cat sculptures today! There was a sale on everything in the store for 40% off. I thought it would be 50% but I should have known that they would be too cheap to have a sale for everything for 50% off. Where I put them on the shelf the pillow was moved actually and the cats were moved and the pillow was put beside them. I wonder if one of the workers moved them. Idiots haha. They were hidden behind the pillow so I was a bit surprised that they were moved... |
