I hope the countdown on her site is for international dates! Countdown? I just checked the site, and I didn't find any. Maybe it was just a glitch?

Part of me thinks that it could be for the release of Speak Now (TSV) or another re-recording (although the other part of me thinks that it's too early to do so).

Looking at the US schedule, it’s likely that she will come to Europe after that. Fingers crossed for August. That’s during my summer break. Hopefully she will pick a venue close to where I live. Based on how she scheduled her previous tours, it's a lot more likely that after the US, she'll come to Europe first before anywhere else (unless she decides to finally tour Latin America first). It was only in Speak Now that she actually started the tour in Asia. (Well, she started 1989 in Japan, but she went to China and Singapore at the latter part of that tour). It’s pretty hard for her to pick. She has fans all over the world. But I understand her hesitation to go certain places. Europe is easy. She can go wherever she wants, at least in Western Europe. And countries are in close proximity. Japan and Australia are also fine. But Latin America is pretty unstable. And China is not a good place to go either at the moment. I would also be hesitant to go to other Asian countries. And of course the Tour can’t go on forever.

Much of Asia has already largely loosened their Covid restrictions, including my country, and are now welcoming concerts by foreign artists.. It's only China which hasn't been budging from their strict lockdown policies.

It's only China which hasn't been budging from their strict lockdown policies. Even apart from Covid policies. A lot of Asian countries have issues with stability, accessibility, safety, hygiene. Or are there enough fans who can afford the tickets? That makes it harder for Taylor to move the whole circus there for one or two nights. Compare it to Formula 1. Very few places have been a success.

I signed up for the presale in Detroit (it was the only one my mom said she'd be willing to travel for). I still don't know if I should buy tickets for that show though or just wait till she announces the rest of the dates. Like on one hand, if I buy them and she does announce a Toronto show, I can just sell them and if she doesn't announce a show in Canada then I can still go see her. The downside is that it's quite a bit of money to spend on tickets for a show I may not even go to. Also it's 3 and a half hours and my mom says she won't stay the night in Detroit so we'd drive there and drive back (and that's a lot of driving in the dark in the middle of the country for a lot of that drive). So I don't know what I'm gonna do. I'm hoping she announces international dates soon (or at the very least confirm or deny a Toronto show).

Last time the presale was a disadvantage. Even at the start of the presale you couldn’t get great tickets. You were stuck with mediocre or bad tickets for high prices. A month (or even more) later there suddenly were great tickets available for lower prices. I think a lot of sponsors and big shots claim the best tickets at the start and more and more give them back.

I honestly just want to wait till she announces the rest of the dates before I make any decision. I hate how they’re pressuring fans into making these decision without giving them the rest of the information. This is really tough for fans outside the states

I know Canada is technically international but it does seem really unfair not to release them at the same time. A lot of Canadians are going to be unnecessarily buying tickets and having travel arrangements to US shows if she turns around and later announces Canada dates.

This is really tough for fans outside the states Based on my previous experience, it seems more compelling to buy the tickets the minute second they go on sale. Back in Speak Now, I didn't buy the tickets immediately when they went on sale. They also sold extra tickets a couple of days later, but they were also immediately sold out. I resorted to joining promos and asking for leads from my friends on where I can buy tickets, and it was only a few days left before the show when I was finally able to buy the tickets. Later during the Red Tour, there was an option to buy the tickets online, but I decided to go to the mall near my place at 10am and buy the tickets there instead. It turned out to be a wise move, as the website crashed and a lot of people were unable to buy tickets online.

Looking at her previous tours (thanks Wikipedia!), she did. The Canadian dates in her previous tours were always sandwiched in between US dates. It's just a bit weird that she didn't do it this time.

But like I said, nowadays a lot of tickets are claimed before the presale for fans even starts. Even fans that were first in line wondered why so few was available. I had the same with Twenty One Pilots tickets. I was first in line, but the seats weren’t great. I came back later and I got front row tickets on the side of the stage. Besides sponsors claiming tickets, I also think quite a few fans are giving tickets back. Probably because they realize they can’t afford it or their parents tell them off.
