Back from the Eras Tour. It was AMAAAAZING!!! We had tickets for the standings on the left side of the stage for both nights. First night one we had VIP tickets with early entry. Honestly, early entry was not really worth it. It wasn’t that much of a difference to regular tickets. The line was a bit shorter, but inside we were able to pick pretty much any spot. First night we were close to the catwalk at the B-stage. The view was good and Taylor was really close several times. Downside was that it was so crowded, you could hardly move your feet without touching someone. The show was absolutely amazing and so was the crowd. Taylor really had a blast. The crowd loved it that she learned some German words. Especially pronouncing the city’s name Gelsenkirchen over and over was highly appreciated. Acoustic set was a highlight of course. On guitar Taylor did a mashup of Superstar and Invisible String. On piano she did "Slut!" (Taylor's Version)(From The Vault)! and False God. At the end of the night, after three and a half hours of show and plenty more hours traveling and waiting, we were beat. We parked our car tactically well. So it didn’t take too long to get back to the hotel. I must say, logistics weren’t perfect in and around the stadium, but it was good enough. The venue was great. We weren’t allowed to leave the floor, but bathrooms, food and drinks ran smoothly. For night two we decided to pick spots a bit further back closer to the main stage and the middle of the catwalk. That was a smart move. View was great and there was plenty of space to jump, dance and relax in between. The crowd was even more hyped up, really going into it full beans. The standing ovation after champagne problems kept going for minutes wave after wave. Taylor was probably worried she wouldn’t get back to continue the show like never…ever… Surprise songs for night two were Speak Now and Hey Stephen on guitar. And This Is Me Trying and Labyrinth on piano. I messed up during Speak Now. I was so baffled I missed the clapping part (so did half the stadium). After the show it was time to snap back into reality and head home. Of course we were tired. But the feeling was sooo good. I attended the shows from last Wednesday and Thursday, but even now, on Sunday, I’m still high from the show. Processing of everything I saw and heard is still going on. Honestly, this trip couldn’t have gone any better. Everything went smooth, the weather was perfect and Taylor was beyond expectations. I’m thankful for Taylor and all the super nice Swifties. Special thanks to Daniel (aka OliviaBenson) for helping me get tickets. And also thanks to everyone on here for being such an amazing community. Feels good to be part of the NTC family.

Taylor was going to do three concerts in Vienna, Austria, next. First show would’ve been tomorrow. Today the Austrian federal police arrested two terrorists who pledged their alliance to ISIS and were planning an attack on Taylor’s shows. Yikes The three shows are canceled. Super sad for the Swifties. But I understand. Safety goes above all. And you never know how many others are involved to still execute an attack.

We don't want something like what happened to Ariana's show in Manchester back in 2017 to happen again. It would be a lot more devastating this time had the suspects not been immediately caught.

She did something like that before in the Red Tour, when she moved her scheduled Bangkok show to Singapore after Thailand had a coup.

Taylor already does 5 shows in London. Maybe there’s a small chance Taylor can do the Vienna shows in the time between the London shows and the Canada shows that don’t start until November. But I don’t think so, since people will get their money back. I also think they want more time to pass before re-scheduling. Time is just too short before the end of the Tour. Honestly, I also fear a bit for the London and Canada shows. London and Britain are crammed with (potential) terrorists. And in pretty much every country there are enemies hiding in plain sight. Let’s hope international authorities are on this like a hawk and nobody will even dare to think about a threat.

And with the riots going on across England and Northern Ireland right now, Taylor and her team should also brace for the possibility of ending the European leg of the tour much earlier than scheduled.

Yeah. I think Taylor really wants London to happen because she invited special guests to open for her. But the risk of a threat is there, even if it’s just to get attention. One of the things they have to consider, is that it doesn’t end at securing the stadium. People travel in masses to the event and of course we have a lot of Swifties hanging outside of the venue. It’s just so sad. Look at how amazing the fans were outside of the stadium, on the hill, in Munich. It’s infuriating that horrible people have the power to spoil this for so many good people.

Small update. The terrorists are 17 and 19 years old (!). One of them confessed. They planned their attack on people outside of the stadium. One guy recently got a job close to the venue. One of them was supposed to be a suicide bomber. The other would carry out knife attacks on people. Police also questioned a 15 year old. But he was released. Maybe “just” a friend of the others.

Outside the stadium... sounds like they're inspired by that bomber in Ariana's concert, judging by their plan (except that they added a knife attack).

Maybe they even cooked up that plan when they saw how many Swifties hang outside of concerts. I read somewhere that they also wanted to use a car to drive into the crowd. But I don’t know if that was reliable info. Maybe that’s one of the reasons the concerts got canceled: they couldn’t guarantee that these two terrorists are the only ones involved. Update: and yes, they arrested a third suspect (18 years old). Meanwhile pictures of the main terrorist surfaced. As usual a classic “hatebeard” type.

Another "Not sure which thread to put this" post. Taylor just released the music video for I Can Do It with a Broken Heart containing a behind-the-scenes look at the tour.
