My vinyl says it’ll be here Saturday, but it’s only in Ohio. I thought about going to Target to get the Target edition since there’s one extra song anyways, but now I guess there’s eight?? My cat died yesterday and I’m not in the greatest of moods, so it would probably make me feel better just to stream it in the car. I guess I could listen to the bonus tracks first but I think I need to listen in order.

I listened to the first 5 tracks on YouTube. I wasn’t too impressed. It’s a bit more poppy than the previous two albums. The lyrics were quite boring and in a forced rhythm several times. Also a lot of the same old boy topic. One of the tracks had a terrible voice at the start.

To me the album has a lot of songs that sound the same and they blend together in my head. I don't know what lyrics go with which title. The album has too many slow talky songs. I haven't really been a fan of these covid albums.
My favorite song is Glitch. I also like Maroon, Midnight Rain, Vigilante Sh*t, Karma, Bigger Than The Whole Sky. Midnight Rain could've been my favorite but I hate the creepy voice. She should release a version without it. Question could maybe grow on me. I don't like the rest of the songs and probably won't listen to them again until there's a tour.
She did Lana dirty with Snow On the Beach lol. She may as well not have even had her on there.
Even though I don't like Anti Hero I thought the music video was great.
Also Reddit is weird. Why in every thread there's someone that thinks her songs about Karlie?
My last thought is she should move on from referencing her past relationships in future songs.

I was up till 4:30 AM last night listening. I love this album so much. I don’t know how I used to stay up this late in college though. I’m told old for this now lol.

Finished listening to all the songs. Can’t really say it got better. I still like Taylor’s voice, but that’s about it. The music is really underwhelming. The lyrics don’t stand out. The topics of the songs are pretty much non existent. Even with a detailed explanation I wouldn’t be captured. I really need to try hard to find three songs that I somewhat liked. The Reader started off well, but then some weird sounds appeared and someone else did some terrible background vocals. What’s up with that? A few times there were some dreadful voices in the songs. Who are those people and why are they there to mess up the song?
I don’t know man, Taylor completely lost it after 1989. Seems like music became a side hustle. Why make an album if you don’t really have much to say. And you don’t really want to put in the work to make it good. Really disappointed. Midnights sounded intriguing, I hoped for some great introspective songs. But none of that came true.
