Some of us fans discussed this on ’Reddit’. They were actually purple glitter in color when they were first released, believe it or not.

It makes no sense to me why they’d release purple guitar picks and then maybe only like thirty minutes at the most after that, it was changed to silver guitar picks. They apparently sent an email to everyone who ordered them, not just the people who ordered them while they were still purple.
