Just a little warning with TikTok. The company and the Chinese government aggressively monitor your keystrokes possibly even outside the app. Best case they only use it to study your behavior and benefit from that. Personally I don’t go near it because I want to limit the chance of my (bank) accounts being hacked.

TikTok was too expensive and China didn’t want an American company taking over the app. Researchers found out they log everything you type even outside the app. So if you use a banking app on your phone, you’re at risk of getting your username/password stolen. Hopefully you guys use safe login and two factor authentication. Keep in mind that if they gain access to shopping accounts they can have access to your creditcard number or home address and phone number. So please be careful. |
