Wasn't sure if I should post this in the Fearless (Taylor's Version) thread or the evermore thread so I just came here!
Since listening to Mr. Perfectly Fine, even though I know it was written years before right where you left me, I keep imagining it from the point of view of the girl in right where you left me and I'm just like... YES GIRL! SHOW HIM WHAT HE LOST! Because, you know, in right where you left me she says "And it's been so long, but if you ever think you got it wrong, I'm right where you left me" but in Mr. Perfectly Fine she says "And someday maybe you'll miss me, but by then you'll be Mr. too late". And it makes me feel so happy and proud that I she was able to move on even though she thought she would always be stuck in that restaurant replaying what happened over and over.
Also, knowing Taylor's going to be on Good Morning America tomorrow has me ~scared~. Like, she's most likely just going to be talking about how excited she is to be putting out this album, but you never know...

I'm about 100 percent certain that on GMA tomorrow Taylor's either gonna
1. Announce the 1989 re-record release date (the music in the background of the GMA teaser sounds a bit like blank space and also she's wearing earrings that are hearts with an arrow in them which might be an Easter egg to the scene in the Blank Space music video where they carve the heart into the tree. Also we know its coming next cause of Wildest Dreams).
2. She's dropping another bonus track or announcing a special performance with GMA.
Either way, I'm excited!

Okay now I am scared of your ears becAUSE HOW DID YOU PICK UP ON THAT? I just don't know how I would react if she announced 1989 (Taylor's Version)... That would be a crazy thing to announce on the eve of Fearless (Taylor's Version)'s release! I could see it being a performance, too, and now I'm leaning towards that just because she wasn't allowed to perform her old songs during the Lover era. But I'm also thinking it could be a music video for Love Story (Taylor's Version) or perhaps even a concert livestream? We've gotten ourselves so excited and watch it end up being her just saying "Yep, my re-recorded version of my second album comes out tonight at midnight. Hope you guys like it!"

I didn’t pick up on it I just saw it on Twitter. I don’t think it’s gonna be the 1989 announcement either. It’s just hard to say cause Taylor’s made a habit of doing whatever she wants and surprising is in ways we don’t expect her to. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

It really seems like a few years ago preordering stuff meant it would most likely arrive on release day but since at least Lover that hasn’t been the case. I preordered Fearless, I was hoping it would arrive by at least the weekend but it’s saying Thursday : (

My prediction to what order the re-recorded albums will be released in are as follows:
1. Fearless (duh, we already have it)
2. 1989 (we know it’s coming cause Wildest Dreams)
3. Red (it was a toss-up between this and Speak Now but I think Red will inevitably come first because that’s the album she started getting her first big pop hits with so I think it’ll come first, also, she can’t deprive us of All Too Well for much longer than one more album)
4. Speak Now (a fan favourite, all self written, also has more of the classic Taylor pop tinged country sound which will ease fans who are not familiar with her earlier albums back into...)
5. The Debut Album (which is full country, less pop influence. Also I would have figured she would have done debut last to kind of end the re-recordings with where she started BUT I think debut will be second to last because reputation has the latest date where she’s allowed to re-release, I don’t think she’ll make us wait that long. That means last but not least will be...)
6. reputation (cause of the release thing but also, imagine having the last line of re-recordings be “and I will hold on to you” already crying thinking about it)
Thoughts? Do you guys agree? What order do you guys think she’ll release in?

I wonder if her EPs (Beautiful Eyes and Holiday Collection) will also get the Taylor’s Version treatment? And how will she deal with her live albums?

I wonder if her EPs (Beautiful Eyes and Holiday Collection) will also get the Taylor’s Version treatment? And how will she deal with her live albums? I think the Beautiful Eyes EP will probably be rolled into Debut (Debut may be as long, if not longer, than Fearless). I don't know if she will re-record the holiday album just because there are only 2 songs on there that she wrote and the rest are covers. I can honestly see her writing her own Christmas album and just putting Christmases When You Were Mine, Christmas Must Be Something More and Christmas Tree Farm on it, before re-recording the the original Christmas album (I can't confirm she'll do either, I just think it would be cool if she did). Unfortunately, I don't think there's anything she can do about the live albums. I'm pretty sure her concert recordings are still owned by Big Machine. Even if they weren't, I can't see her trying to re-create an entire tour. I know she's good at keeping busy but that would be too much (Although if she did re-do her tours, I would go see the Speak Now tour cause it's the one I missed and it's one of my life's biggest regrets). What I want to know is if she's going to put Crazier on one of the re-recorded albums. I would have thought it would have been on Fearless but I don't know if it'll get included anywhere. It might be put on Speak Now but I'm not sure if she can do it cause I think that song in particular might be owned by Disney. Guess we'll find out!)

Okay... now I’m thinking about where she’ll put Permanent Marker. As for her redoing her tours, I’d love to go to either Fearless, 1989 or Reputation, since she didn’t come to my country in those tours. And I think this may be crazy, but if in the unlikely event that she does the Fearless Tour again, she may consider Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Latin America, continental Europe (i.e. outside the UK), maybe Africa, the Middle East, Israel, NZ and Asia (except Japan). What do you think?

I think some people thought it was going to be on Fearless cause she performed it in a show before Fearless came out but it was demoed for Speak Now. I guess only time will tell. I've seen all the tours you listed above and they were magical! It would be a crazy undertaking if she were to do it. In the very very unlikely event in which she tours her old albums I can absolutely see her going to those countries you listed. I think she was trying to go to places that she doesn't typically go to for Loverfest before it got cancelled so, I don't think those countries would be out of the realm of possibility for her. Maybe If Taylor were to do a festival in the future she would try to do different sets for different days. Another band I love, Paramore, has done a few cruises like that where they are out at sea for a week and each day on the boat they do a different set of songs. That would be cool! Although I think Taylor will probably not be the first to go back to touring after the pandemic is declared over just due to the safety of her mom. It's fun to imagine though!

I think Taylor also did perform on a cruise ship just before she started her Speak Now Tour. And speaking of Mommy Andrea, she was the first one that came to my thoughts when I listened to the re-recording of The Best Day. I hope she fully recovers. It’s really tough to have such illness in the midst of a pandemic, especially when the treatment itself for that disease weakens the immune system.

I wonder, if there wouldn't be Corona, if Taylor would also do a mini tour for the re-recorded albums, which means 10 concerts of Fearless around the world and so on.

But it should be in those countries that she didn’t visit on her original tours. For Red, though, I’ll be more than willing to let Thailand have all the fun among the Asian countries. It was originally part of the Red Tour schedule, but Taylor was forced to cancel it when a coup occurred and martial law was declared there back in 2014.
