Preordered 2 copies from Target. Had a 10% off on top of the 5% for the redcard!!! I'll get the clean version probably at work and then the cassette and vinyl on the site I guess. Oh yay they’re at target! I also have 10% for target circle. I saw on Instagram people weren’t able to order the CD and get free shipping over $50, I guess they don’t want to pay for split shipping for the CD again but it’s not like I asked them to last time. |

I just noticed the cardigan from folklore and the current one is different. I like the new one better with the new patch placement and it saying Taylor Swift rather than folklore

I’m not sure if I hope my mom ended up getting me the cardigan for Christmas or not, I kind of feel like she didn’t because the shipping time would be a turn off for her. But the new one is much better with the patch placement and it not saying folklore. But I don’t know, doesn’t really matter I guess  |

and it's not limited edition! It is limited edition, it says it above it :/ It may be branded as "limited edition" but thank god there's no time limit on it like 24 or 48 hours. I have been hoping and am glad to see that it is a main collection and will be available for a while hopefully. When it was first released, it had unlimited stock it seemed and you couldn't check how much was still in stock for items. But then a few days later you could check the stock. Then it was getting lower, which made me start to worry. But just yesterday I believe they restocked things and added more stock to all of the items just about. But the socks are for some reason unavailable right now. I'm glad I bought them in a small order I made when the birthday ring and earrings came out - I ordered the socks and ring together. |

I bought the vinyl. I wanted the candle too but I barely had the money for the vinyl so if by any sort of pick the candle is still in stock by next Thursday when I get paid I will get it then. You might've already made your order as it's past when you said you'd get the candle when you were paid again. But it's good to see pretty much all the items are still in stock, and the candle is still there if you haven't gotten it yet. I did get the green candle, but I want the red original one too from the "Holiday" collection from last month. It's one of the only items that has been sold out from the start and hasn't come back in stock on any of the international stores. But someone on 'Reddit' said one night a few days ago they saw it came back in stock on the U.K. online store and they bought it and then it sold out again. So I'm going to watch the webpage for it. I wouldn't burn these candles. But I wonder what they smell like. I saw one listing of the red original candle on 'eBay' but we obviously can't tell how it smells through a computer screen. |

I sort of laughed at it last night but I think I’m actually going to buy the clean version of the CD, I’m not at all interested in some of the cursing on a couple of the songs. I wish the vinyl had a clean version. I think I’m going to wait a bit to order anything, nothing I want is limited and I might be better off waiting to see if target releases a cd and vinyl again. I still don't know how I feel about Taylor swearing in her latest songs from her latest two albums. I guess 'Folklore' prepared me for 'Evermore', but I don't get a good impression or feeling when I first hear her new songs and there are swears in it like "f*ck" because she never used to swear like that in her songs. I do wonder why they don't have the vinyl records in the clean version. Maybe they will eventually with just the regular edition 'Folklore' brown color vinyl record, and the same with the 'Evermore' green vinyl record (the only one so far). But I wonder how they'd differentiate it. They only put a sticker on the vinyl records that says "Explicit" I think, like the CDs. And after thinking about it, I think they did need to make a clean version with the "In The Trees" cover as it's the only CD to be sold in stores (the other seven were online exclusives), so by that logic there should be a "clean" vinyl record to be sold in stores. I'm just glad there aren't clean versions of every edition out of the eight versions of 'Folklore'. It would be even more to collect, holy crap. Like I said in my previous post(s) I'm happy and relieved to see this 'Evermore' merch collection is not as limited as they make it out to be. It's all pre-orders so I think it will be there for a while like the 'Folklore' main collection was. They at first had unlimited stock for it to take the pre-orders that they would get right away, then they limited the stock and it kept going down, but it was restocked or replenished again recently. So if you want something from the collection it will hopefully be there for a while. I've been worried about random 24 or 48 hour releases because during the 'Folklore' era they were all random and we didn't know when there would be a new one. Maybe they realize (and I hope they do) that it's just before Christmas and people will have spent most of their money for the season on gifts already, and not as many people are going to buy Taylor merch now. Maybe they would do limited edition releases into the new year. I just hope if there's things I really want that I have the money for it while it's available. I would like to see 'Target' have exclusive releases for 'Evermore' too. It's odd there wasn't an exclusive CD already. It took two weeks after 'Folklore' was surprised released for the physical CD and the 'Target' exclusive physical CD to be released in stores. But this time for 'Evermore' the physical CD was released just one week after its surprise release. Stores must've been informed a little ahead of time this time for this release. I wonder if the fact that 'Evermore' hasn't had any exclusive CD or vinyl record versions yet is the reason why 'Evermore' doesn't have a 'Target' exclusive CD. Because there's no alternate covers for a 'Target' exclusive to pull a cover from yet like they did with the "Meet Me Behind The Mall" cover. I do hope they have a 'Evermore' vinyl record too though. I guess they don't want to make people wait like the online store did and have a pre-order for four months, as they only just took pre-orders and released the 'Target' exclusive red vinyl record for 'Folklore' about three or four weeks before it was to be released. So by that logic, there would maybe be an 'Evermore' vinyl record ready for pre-order by March of next year and be released in April. What color would they do I wonder? |

I haven't made an order with music items from 'Evermore' yet, but I guess if I did I would've seen that error or change how you can't get free shipping if you have CDs or music items in the order. It's not the fans' fault that they decided to ship out (and spend a lot of their money on) the 'Folklore' CDs separately after the release date for in stores even if people only paid for combined shipping. Now they're forcing people to pay split shipping, which is unfair. Maybe it has something to do with the change in rules for 'Billboard' to count music sales. I've learned that a music item needs to be shipped the same week it is ordered for it to count. So maybe they want all of the CDs to ship separately in order for them to count as sales. I just wonder why they already have a vinyl record for pre-sale, because I don't think they will count towards the charts sales. They may also be holding back several different editions/versions of 'Evermore' vinyl records for when they're finally ready and made because of the change in chart rules. They probably learned from the (sort of) fiasco with the 'Folklore' different vinyl records editions/versions and how it took four months for them to be made and when shipping them out there were issues too. So by the same logic of how long it took after 'Folklore's release for 'Target' to have an exclusive vinyl record and for the online store pre-sales to be ready to ship, maybe there will be different limited edition vinyl record versions in March or April of next year. And they'll be ready to ship by then hopefully instead of people having to wait months for them to be ready and to get them finally. Do you have to pay for 'Target Circle'? I've read about that in my account but I thought it was something you had to pay for. I obviously would not pay for it because there are no 'Target' stores in Canada and I only order from it a few times a year when there are exclusive releases by Taylor and other artists I love. |
