I want some exhile essays??? His perspective is that she doesn't know what she's doing and needs to come back to him but actually she is well and truly over him (and has been for some time) but is wary of how she expresses this bc she's worried he could get volatile??? Two different characters AND perspectives in the one song?? I'm sure this story hits close to a lot of homes so WHY no one talkin about this???????

Also Justin Vernon's voice in Exile. He sings so well in the bass register and it's so warm and it perfectly convey's the bitterness and pain of the song just A++++

I like how smart this album makes me feel. I remember when it was first dropped people were talking about how they had to google some of the words she used in certain songs because they were big or uncommon but I knew all the words she used and it made me feel sort of good about myself.

The way Taylor sings "'Cause I loved you, I swear I loved you" in my tears ricochet.

....Did anyone else listen to "the lakes"? If no, I don't want to spoil it by talking about it but, I'm DYING to talk about it!

I just realised how smart the line "I was so ahead of the curve, the curve became a sphere" is.

I love saying "free of women with madness, their men and bad habits, and then it was bought by me."
