I’ve avoided this thread because of last year’s catastrophe... lol but I suppose I could send and receive digital cards!

I’ve been thinking about this and I need to get cards to send out.
I read for ’Canada Post’ they recommend sending cards to anywhere internationally (except Africa) by December 4th.

I looked in a drug store today for a card for something unrelated and they don't have any cards for the subject of 'Wishes from Canada'. But the dollar store(s) do which I don't understand. I never knew they made cards for that subject before. I think that's what I'm going to get for cards this year. It's just weird normal stores don't have them but dollar stores do.

I feel bad but I probably won't be getting cards out until after the recommended date they say to send them out. I just have been busy and I still need to get the cards, stamps for them, and I was thinking of looking in stores for small things to include in them but I haven't done that yet. I hope the recommended date is just recommended and not certain that it won't arrive by Christmas. Sometimes I'm surprised by how quick mail can get to somewhere when I've sent cards in the past.

Mine are addressed and ready to go! I'm bringing them to the post office after work tonight! I still need to wait for my friends to send me their addresses though....on the bright side it won't take more than 2 days for their cards to be delivered so....

It’s funny to me that last year I used two stamps on the four cards I had for the states, and I used three stamps on the international cards, except for Callie’s since it was just a regular card... the only ones that made it was one going to California and all three of the international cards which it costs more to ship international. Anyway, it’s still kind of cool to imagine my cards going through border control or whatever  I guess I should start making my digital cards! I was thinking, if anyone on here wants to send digital cards like graphics but doesn’t know how to make them, I know the graphic section isn’t overly active but maybe ask someone who edits to make them. I’m a bit busy and I’m not really good at it anyway, but I know other people on here are great at it  |
