I was obsessed with this song when RED came out, it helped me with a situation I was going through at the time (even though I didn’t relate to the experience at all. I guess that’s the beauty of song interpretation). So when she played it live I was a WRECK! Full tears. Then she switched to summer of 69 and it was like whiplash. Whenever I hear that song (below) on the radio too I think of Toronto and Taylor and the second 'Reputation Tour' concert there. I heard it actually on the radio in the car on Friday when I was going to Saskatchewan with my parents for Thanksgiving and I said again about how me and my mom heard it live.
Bryan Adams is such a great genuine artist. One of my childhood favorites. I’m tempted to catch up on all his albums. |

Swear this song would play every time I was going to see my Grandma in the nursing home or coming home from seeing her. So, like, lowkey hate this song because it makes me think of that trash place. Don't get me wrong, I loved seeing my Grandma even though it broke my heart each time because I was watching her getting weaker and weaker and it made me realize that she wasn't getting better. But the nurses there were straight up horrible except for, like, 1 or 2. Don't know how they can sleep at night.

This song reminds me of middle school. There was some video the teachers would play for us and it had this song playing. The video was either to encourage us to read more and earn more AR points so we could attend the AR party or it was getting us excited for the end of the school year party. It was also playing during the party along with Firework by Katy Perry.

I remember this song specifically because I saw No Doubt on their reunion tour and Paramore was opening for them and Brand New Eyes hadn't been announced yet but they had released Ignorance and this song and added it to their setlist so it was cool to see it live. |
