Hi Swifties. Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has just said that assemblies must not exceed 10 people up to and including 31-8-2020. This means that all Danish festivals in 2020 will be canceled. It is sad, but unfortunately necessary. In other words no Roskilde festival. Yeah. As sad as it is, it’s the right decision. Even if we’re doing a lot better by then, festivals and concerts are out of the question. With Glastonbury and Roskilde cancelled, I hope they will make a decision about Belgium and Berlin soon. Those dates are even sooner than the two that are cancelled.

Here is an email I received from Ticketmaster. Dear Kim, This Monday, it was announced that it is prohibited to carry through large events this summer. This prohibition also applies to Roskilde Festival. We had feared that it could happen. Until the end we have hoped that it wouldn't end like this. However, the risk of dissemination is too great when so many people are gathered. This consideration is of the greatest importance. Therefore, there will be no Roskilde Festival this summer. Instead, we must look towards Roskilde Festival no. 50 in 2021, and already now we ask for your support. You can make a huge difference for us by saying yes to being part of Roskilde Festival 2021 by transfering your ticket to next year’s festival. Doing that, you will help secure the very foundation of the festival and get us through the difficult times that we are now facing. Should you not wish to transfer your ticket you can be reimbursed. We will get back to you about the specific conditions regarding both transfer and reimbursement within the next 14 days. We kindly ask for your understanding regarding this. Until then take good care of yourself and each other. Roskilde Festival.

Yeah, today I watched an interview with someone from concert organizations. He revealed why it’s taking so long to cancel events. Artists and organizers want to cancel, but they don’t want to take the first step, otherwise they will be held responsible by the other parties. They are waiting for governments to prohibit concerts during the summer. That way they have a valid reason and can’t be sued. They are hoping the governments will do that soon, because they don’t want to put people in more danger by being forced to continue preparations for concerts.

Belgium is officially cancelled. Berlin (Germany) will be too. Both countries banned concerts until September 1st.

Blegh. Just got an e-mail from Ticketmaster about the festival in Belgium. They will give you a credit for your ticket price to use for next year or 2022. Credit will be available September 15th... Only with a valid reason that you’re unable to attend you could ask for a refund (in September). So that’s probably medical reasons or death, lol. This is useless man. I have no interest in getting tickets for next year or 2022. Hopefully there will be a way to get my money back in September. I expect Berlin and other venues will do the same. F*ck this, I’m done with concerts and traveling...forever!

UKs only show at Hyde Park in London on 11th July was cancelled. I didn't plan to go as I live a long way from London.

Finally heard back from the Berlin organizers. There are two options. 1. You get the price of your ticket(s) as a voucher. If you haven’t used the voucher until December 31st 2021, you get the money back. 2. You want your money back immediately. It can be done, but... they will charge you a fee of 15% for that... Another annoying thing is for both options you have to send back the tickets. That’s ridiculous. The show is cancelled and there won’t be a new show. So why do you need to send back the tickets? It’s not like you get your money back and then walk into another show with Taylor tickets. Seems like they just want to make it difficult for people to get their money back.
I haven’t made up my mind, but I will probably go for option 2. I will lose 15% of my money (even more in total), but I wouldn’t be surprised if the organizer goes bankrupt within a year and all my money is gone.

I wondered why it was taking so long for Harry Styles to finally cancel or postpone his North American leg of his tour this year and I FINALLY saw a post about it literally a few weeks ago. It was inevitable so I didn't know why it hadn't been announced yet because I hadn't heard anything about it before then.

I got an e-mail from the Berlin people. They will give me part of the money back. That’s good news. I’m glad to put it behind me. Next month I should hear from the organizers in Belgium. Hopefully I can get my money back too. As long as the virus isn’t completely vanished I won’t even consider going to concerts anymore.

Well, she was tone deaf and her outfit was ugly! You're right. The outfit made me sick I guess bringing alcohol to that show is not only allowed, but also compulsory (as long as it's at least the 70% kind).
