My presents (from my parents) were:
- White/Iridescent Sequin Throw Pillow
- White Polka Dot Robe (Purple, Pink, Yellow Dots)
-
$20 Lottery Scratch Ticket Package
(Other small things that I'll edit this post with later/tomorrow.)
-
Kacey Musgraves 'Folk Fest' Tickets (!!!)
-
'Nintendo Switch' (!!!)
And my mom said she would get me the tickets to see
Kacey Musgraves at the
'Folk Fest' thing in
Winnipeg this summer, but she didn't have them printed out or bought yet apparently. I need to get her to buy them then as who knows if it will sell out. I don't know why she didn't get them and she just said she would get them and she didn't write it in the card or print something out about it for me to open as a present. And for the
'Nintendo Switch', when we were at supper for my birthday I sort of talked about the
'Nintendo Switch' and I said I wonder when they would go on sale or if they would and apparently my dad didn't know I wanted one as I gave my mom a piece of paper that said these two main things I would want and she must not have shown him it. I think I talked about it a few times and later or the next day I guess my dad had been thinking about it and talking about it to my mom and he wondered if I would want the
'Nintendo Switch' instead of the tickets and I said no, and that was at lunch time the day after my birthday (
March 18th). Then at supper time I think he talked to my mom again more and he said they'll help me get the
'Nintendo Switch' (along with the tickets). He was going to buy something from
'Best Buy' for himself that night and he wondered if he could use my
$200 gift card I had from
Christmas that I would've used for part of it to pay for it and so he did so he has to buy the
'Nintendo Switch' in full then. He better go through with it and keep his promise (he will) because he used my
$200 gift card! We've been looking online and he said to look too and the only stores around here that sell it that he looked at were
'Best Buy' and
'Walmart' and the only store that has a package that has a game with it for a little cheaper price I think as a bundle was
'Best Buy' but I didn't really like the game that came with it. Then I thought of
'Shoppers Drug Mart' here that does sell some electronics in some of its stores and they have a rewards program thing where you get
15 points for every dollar spent and
1,000 points equals
$1 off and so on. When they have
20x the points days (often on the weekend) you get
20x the points so if we bought the
'Nintendo Switch' on
Sunday this weekend as it said in the flyer
Sunday and
Monday for it I calculated I should get
113,000 and something points so that's
$113 that I can use to buy a game or just about two. I'd rather get points like that and get game(s) I want than get a set with one game I'm not sure about and get no points with it.
I should check
'EB Games' too but they don't have rewards points. I just wonder what bundles with games they have, if any.
