Taylor Swift Shares a First Look at Her Netflix Concert Special"Are you ready for it?'
Taylor Swift is a powerhouse performer—so it only makes sense that the 29-year-old singer would team up with a powerhouse platform like Netflix for a concert special. "Thanks so much for all the birthday wishes!" she wrote on Instagram Thursday. "Today I finally get to show you something we've been working on for a while...the trailer for the Reputation Stadium Tour!"
"You made this tour so insanely fun for all of us on stage, and I'm really excited that we will have this memento of the memories we all made together this year. I also got to share the stage with such wildly talented people [openers Camila Cabello and Charli XCX], my band and dancers who shine so brightly in this film. You're the best," she continued. "Thank you for everything."
The singer's concert film will premiere Dec. 31 at 12:01 a.m. PT on Netflix.
Yesterday, Netflix revealed which other titles are coming and going in January 2019."( SOURCE)

I don’t know. I don’t have Netflix. And I don’t really know if I should get it. Just getting it to see this video is probably not a good idea. I don’t like how this is setup. I understand the business side, but a DVD / Blu Ray would be so much better.

I'm excited for it regardless and I'm very happy that I do have 'Netflix' I can use (it better be here in Canada), but I don't understand why she wouldn't later release things on DVD. I guess you have to burn it yourself to a DVD or buy a fanmade or fake one online to say you "have it".

I thought it was going to be midnight for EST or CST which I would've been fine with, but no it's PST. I'll have to stay up until 2 AM to finally watch it.

I'm excited for the video, but not for Netflix, because I won't subscribe to Netflix. Would be better to bring it on DVD/Blu-Ray and to the streaming platforms.

I don’t have Netflix and I’m not planning on getting it for this. My hopes are somebody will make a video of it. That would be great. I’m still enjoying watching the 1989 World Tour Live. Which brings me to another thing. I enjoyed going to two shows of the Reputation Tour in London. Obviously Taylor delivers. But if I compare it to 1989, it’s clearly a (big) step down. The whole Reputation era is quite a big step down compared to 1989 (and Red of course). I think what bothers me most is that Taylor felt obliged to come with a new album and era, but she didn’t have her heart in it. It show in everything: the music, (lack of) connection to the fans, weak promotion, a cold sales strategy. And to be clear: I feel for Taylor, because 1989 was nearly perfect. It was hard to pick a path from there. She deserved her break. The break didn’t go too well, there was too much drama. Taylor caused most of it herself. But instead of recovering from it and extending her break, she hastily came back. That wasn’t the best idea (actually a terrible idea). I’m really praying we will get Taylor back whole-heartedly for TS7.

Not staying up until 3 am but I know what I’ll be doing tomorrow! Would it be a bit much if I waved my glow stick around like I did at the actual concert?

I have decided I am not staying up until 2AM to watch, I will get up fresh and awake in the morning. It was easy to stay up when she released videos at midnight EST time. It was only 11 not 2 AM Then I will probably watch it lots & lots of times, reliving my concert in Houston.
