This is for everyone who has ever gone to school or is currently attending. Describe what school was/is like for you. Were you popular? Win any yearbook superlatives? Join a lot of clubs? This is a place where you can reminisce about your school experiences or talk about what you're going through in school now.

This just reminded me that one of my Facebook memories today was a post I made 4 years ago about these idiot students ruining the Spirit Week decorations. To this day, I still don't get why they did that. It wasn't cool to ruin something someone worked hard on.
I forget which grade I was in, I want to say 10th grade, but anyway, these dumb boys broke their lunch table and decided the next day they would take mine and my friends. I think we got our table back eventually. It's weird how territorial we were over lunch tables. We could sit anywhere we wanted but, yet, wherever we sat on the first day of school was usually where we sat for the rest of the school year. OH! There was also a mini pep rally in the lunchroom one time and all these students thought it would be cool to climb up on one of the tables and start jumping up and down and they broke it.

Lol that's funny. No one in my high school sat in the cafeteria. We all sat in the hallway on the floor. In my final 2 years they tried to move us to the cafeteria and it didn't really work...

School was complete horror from first day on until I was destroyed by bullies and teachers so that I never got back to school after 7 years, and I was at home and in therapy for 1 year from year 4 to year 5. Never really had friends, when I thought I had a friend, then he changed the side to the bullies, or the bullies did something that my friend never believed me again and wasn't my friend anymore.

I think I was a fairly outgoing kid until grade 4 and then I got bullied and I think that made me shy and stay quiet. Since then and into high school I've always been quiet and shy. I didn't have "friends" and I was always at home and studying, etc.. I didn't participate in things because I was shy and quiet. In high school I wasn't in any clubs until my last year where I thought I should maybe try something. I was in the yearbook club. I guess it was good for me to at least try something even in my senior year. I made pretty much the entire outside of the yearbook. They sort of had superlative things but I wasn't chosen for anything of course. No one remembers me. And I tried the badminton club/team (just a casual one) and I sucked at it as usual.
I think I have gotten better in university but I'm still quiet and I don't participate in many things. I tried to sort of maybe get into two clubs ('Geography' and 'Biology') last year as a casual member but I just don't have time for them and I dread things like going to their meetings. All I do is listen anyways. So I just haven't been involved in them.

I'm looking on my old schools' websites and it looks like in elementary school for clubs, we had an art club, a separate coloring club, (I don't remember that...)band, chorus, a gardening club, (don't remember that either) something called a partner's club, and a science club. I could've sworn we had a dance group, too, because I remember filling out an application to try out for it. Maybe they got rid of it. I was going to try out for chorus but I forgot what time try outs were and I missed it. In middle school, we had 4-H (and after the fair last week, I'm a bit sad I didn't join), an academic team, beta club, drama, FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), FCCLA (Family Career and Community Leaders of America), FFA (Future Farmers of America), a prayer club, something where you could help the librarian open the library every day, partners club (seriously, what is it?!), a reading club, a relay for life club, science club, math club, student council, art club, pageants (one for the girls and one for the boys), sports teams (baseball, basketball, football, soccer, softball, and track) and I guess they've lumped together all the chorus, band, dance, and cheerleader people. I know I was in chorus in middle school. All 3 grades, too, I'm pretty sure. I thought about joining drama but I was too shy to act on stage in front of others. In high school, we had an academic club, AFJROTC, art club, beta club, bowling club, chorus, debate, DECA (can't find what it stands for but basically you do stuff pertaining to marketing and finance), announcements club (idk if this is an actual club but every morning, a few students would read off the announcements), fishing club, anti-bullying club (a shame it didn't seem to work :/ ), drama club, you could work in the school's gift shop, FBLA, FCCLA, FFA, FCA, French club, a recycling club, a lumberjack club, pageants (one for the girls and I guess they still have the boys one), math club, robotics, science club, book club, Spanish club, student council, you could work in the school's coffee shop (must be new 'cause I don't remember this), yearbook club, homecoming court, band, chorus, and all the sports teams. (baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, football, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track, volleyball, and wrestling) I was in chorus again in high school and oh my gosh do I miss itttt! It was always one of my favorite classes. I was also in beta club and FCCLA for 1 or 2 years. Beta club kept moving around their meeting times and places so it got confusing. Plus, it was full of all the Honors and AP students and some of them acted like they were superior to everyone else. FCCLA had its fun times. I remember we made cake pops one time and one of my friends was dipping hers in the frosting and a piece of the cake broke off so I just mixed it in with the frosting and I thought this other girl was gonna have a cow! It wasn't that serious... I was also in FFA my Junior and Senior years and I always felt bad because only a handful of people actually cared about the club while the others were just there. My senior year I tried out for an officer's position but I wasn't brave enough to do one of the big ones like President or Vice President so I tried out for Reporter. Not like I had any competition since people weren't interested in the officers positions. A few of the things I remember doing in FFA were rabbit shows. (I think I got best of breed with Batman one time and some best of something with Casper) We could also do mini booths for the fair (horticulture or ag mechanics) and I did one about pumpkins one year and got second place. I also entered a bird house that my dad built and then I painted. I think I got third place for it. Even though it looked better than a lot of the ones there but whatever. We also went to the Georgia State Capitol where I'm pretty sure we got to meet the governor, Nathan Deal. I think one of the coolest trips was going to Plains, Georgia and touring former president Jimmy Carter's childhood home and then later, we went to his old high school to listen to a speech from him! Don't ask me what the speech was about because I don't remember, lol. When he was done, though, him and Rosalynn walked down the side of the auditorium I was sitting on, waving at everyone. They were surrounded by security, of course, but it was still pretty cool that I was somewhat close to him. THIS WAS SO LONG OMG I'M SORRY

I just randomly remembered the time someone in my 7th grade science class tried to poison the teacher by putting hand sanitizer in his drink while he was outside in the hall... The table I was sitting at with my friend was right in front of the teacher’s desk and we both were like “what do we do???” so we ended up giving him a note when he came back in to not drink his drink. Then later, I think one of the assistant principals came by and took that kid out and he ended up in either ISS or OSS. Welcome to public schools in ‘Merica.

UGGGGGGH ENGLISH IS HAAAAARD! How can my native language be so difficult? I'm trying to write this dumb analysis for 2 articles and I started writing what I thought the thesis was and I found a supporting quote but now that I'm trying to write why I think the quote supports the thesis, I think what I thought the thesis was is not actually the thesis so I have to go back and change it and I don't want too. I guess I have to though. Unless I want to fail, which I don't....ugh back to my homework.
