I'm always interested in people's travels. This is a thread where you can talk about the places you've gone, where you would like to go and a place to share your travel stories.

I love to travel! I'm going to Berlin and Prague this Christmas, and I'm thinking of saving up to travel to Asia next summer after my dig.

I've never left the continent but I've been to Myrtle Beach (x2), Disney World (in Orlando Florida), Nashville, Montreal, Quebec City, St John and Alma New Brunswick. I also live close to both Toronto and Niagara Falls
After Christmas I'm going to start saving up to go to New York City to see the Macy's parade and some broadway shows.

I’ve been to a lot of states but never outside the country. at the top of my head, Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas, Ohio (okay so maybe I didn’t cross that line but I was so close it counts), North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia, I think, Alabama and Georgia since I’ve lived there, Indiana, Illinois, I’m sure there’s more but that’s all I’ve got right now XD

I wish I had more money to travel.
I've been to:
Japan - If you go here, eat your heart out. Literally. They have the best food I've ever had in my life.
Canada - It is picturesque, but after a while I became an ungrateful traveler who got sick of seeing 4930584038 mountains.
Texas - The only US state I've been to, but I loved it. I had so much fun and can't wait to explore more of the US (hopefully they'll get some gun control sorted eventually, so I can go there with confidence lmao).
Papua New Guinea - I did this as part of a trek but, as my first visit to a third world country, it changed my perspective. I'm still not entirely over the shock of it. Everyone should visit a place like that at some point in their lives just to understand how wonderful things are in our own life (TV and pictures don't do the justice of actually understanding what it's like for less fortunate people).

You must have been out west lol. The East coast doesn’t have mountains.

I've never been outside of North America unfortunately. I dream of going to London, England, but I'll probably never get there. I would love to see other cities in North America like New York, Los Angeles, Nashville, Orlando, Chicago, Seattle, Denver, etc.. And I'd like to see more major cities in Canada like Ottawa, Montreal (possibly), and the other provinces/territories that I haven't seen before. I would like to go back to Toronto too. I didn't get to do hardly any site seeing while I was there two times this past summer. And I'd love to go back to Vancouver and Victoria as I think I loved it there.
I've been to 5/13 provinces and territories in Canada - Manitoba (where I live), British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Ontario. The major cities I've been in are Winnipeg, MB, Saskatoon, SK, Regina, SK, Edmonton, AB, Calgary, AB, Vancouver, BC, Whistler, BC, Victoria, BC, and Toronto, ON.
I've been to 4/50 states in the United States - North Dakota, Minnesota, Colorado, and Nevada. The major cities I've been in are Fargo, ND, Minneapolis, MN, Colorado Springs, CO, and Las Vegas, NV.

Time to see if I can remember everywhere I've been...
Dallas, Texas New Orleans, Louisiana Nashville, Tennessee Gatlinburg, Tennessee Chattanooga, Tennessee Pigeon Forge, Tennessee Washington, D.C. Orlando, Florida Miami, Florida (probably doesn't count because all we did was stay at a hotel before we left for a cruise the next day) Jacksonville, Florida Clearwater, Florida Cocoa Beach, Florida Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
^ Those are the specific cities I can think of at the moment. I've been on 2 cruises and on the first one, we went to Mahogany Bay, Cozumel, Belize, and Grand Cayman. On the second one, we were originally supposed to go to Amber Cove, San Juan, Grand Turk, and St. Thomas but they all got destroyed by a hurricane. Actually, I think it was multiple hurricanes... They had to change our itinerary to Costa Maya, Cozumel, Belize, and Mahogany Bay. I'm pretty sure I've been to North Carolina and various other places in South Carolina. Here in my home state, Georgia, I've been to Helen, Atlanta (like a billion times lol), Savannah, Columbus, Valdosta, Stone Mountain, and a bunch of other little cities. And these states probably don't count since we only drove through them, but Alabama, Mississippi, Virginia, West Virginia, and Maryland.
We were talking about going to Destin sometime next Spring, I think, but I don't know if we are still going or not. I'd love to go to San Francisco one day! And, of course, Hollywood. Hmmm, where else in the U.S....? New York, mainly so I can blast Welcome To New York the whole time, lol (I used to want to go to take a picture in front of Taylor's New York apartment but I've kind of had my view changed on that) also Arizona to see the Grand Canyon. My dad keeps saying we need to go there for vacation one year but it probably won't happen. Outside of the U.S., GREEEEEEEEEECE! Not really for any specific reason other than it looks beautiful there. Egypt, maybe Australia, and the U.K., of course. But really I think it would be cool to go anywhere.

I have not traveled so much. I have most been around in my own country Denmark. But we also have many lovely places. Otherwise I have been to any of the nearest countries. Norway. Svergie. Germany. England. Netherlands. And that was it.

You must have been out west lol. The East coast doesn’t have mountains. Yeah, I realized after I posted that I should have mentioned the West but was too lazy to change it. What's the East like?

I've been to several European countries: England, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, France, Switzerland, Spain, Greece, Italy, Vatican City. Nature wise I was most impressed by Switzerland, it's amazing. Rome is by far the best city I visited. It's amazing to walk around those impressive ancient buildings and locations. The city also has a good atmosphere. Even the local spots are great. I also liked Barcelona a lot. It's a clean city with culture, good spots and nice weather. This year I went to London for the first time to see Taylor. I had really high expectations. I expected London to give Rome a run for its money. But I wasn't too impressed. It's okay to visit for a few days, but I'm not really tempted to go back. I mostly didn't like the mix of old and new, rich and poor. Some beautiful spots are wedged in by tall modern buildings. One street away from nice places you wander into a ghetto. Lots of streets are crammed with useless shops, it's more like one big flea market. The vibe is very inconsistent.

Places I've been to UK-Obviously, because I'm British. I've travelled a lot around the UK, but my favourite places are London and the Highlands in Scotland and, of course, Newcastle and Glasgow. I think we're massively underrated over here, especially considering we're so naturally beautiful. France-I've been to Paris and Nice. I waaaaay prefer Nice, which is a lovely coastal city with beautiful beaches and good food. It's a great place to go and relax. I also went to Monaco when I was here which is technically another country, but it's so tiny that it's just a day trip really! Germany-I've been to Cologne, Hamburg, and Berlin. I love Germany for all of it's history and because it's such an industrial place mixed with a lot of gothic elements which is just really cool. Gent, Belgium-My favourite place in the world possibly. I was only here for three days and stayed in an amazing hostel and ate so many chips and waffles and just had an all around wonderful time. Amsterdam, The Netherlands-Also loved it here. I really like cities with canals, and they do my masters course in English so maybe one day?? Barcelona, Spain-I also loved it here! It is insanely touristy but it's also just got such a lovely vibe as a city, plus all the Gaudi architecture around the place is gorgeous. I'm definitely keen to go back! Northern Ireland/Ireland-I spent a week travelling round both! I spent the least time in Northern Ireland and only stayed in Derry, so I'd be keen to go back and see more someday. In Ireland we spent most of our time in Donegal which was absolutely breathtakingly beautiful, plus we went to Dublin which I really loved too because it was such a friendly city that reminded me a lot of Glasgow. Krakow, Poland-I was here for the entirety of one day so I'm not much of an expert! I really want to go back though, probably to Warsaw too. Houston, Texas-omg did you know me and Tara went to Texas? This was the craziest trip I've ever done and I'm not sure anything I do will ever match travelling to the US for a weekend just to see a Taylor concert.
