I'm guessing it will be $199.99 in Canada. EDIT: Oh boy, I just looked on 'Google' after I searched last night for any pre-orders in Canada for the camera and it popped up on 'Google' on 'BestBuy.ca'! It's apparently $229.99 here in Canada. :/ I don't think I'm going to pre-order it as it probably takes funds out of your bank account right away right? I'll have to wait until I hopefully get part-time jobs when university starts. Maybe it’s just that much at Best Buy?  |

That's just how pathetic the Canadian dollar has been for the past 5 years or so. People in the U.S. pay $179.99 for something and we Canadians have to pay SIXTY dollars more just because our dollar has to be compared to the U.S. dollar which is annoying. I just searched on 'Google' "179.99 USD to CAD" and right now it's at about $234 so it's a tiny bit cheaper for the current price of the camera but it depends on where the Canadian dollar sits at. It would be nice if the U.S. dollar would go down for once and maybe they'd adjust the price. |

That's odd they're releasing it on a Saturday. I would've expected October 20th 2018 to be almost any day of the workweek but it's a Saturday...

Even if I buy things from the online store it's in USD funds so when I use 'PayPal' or my card or something it just converts USD to CAD and that's how much you pay with the conversion. It's annoying.  It would probably cost more to go to the bank and get American money and buy it physically within the U.S. as banks make you pay fees to change currencies I think. |

I swear to god if they have a promotional stand up I'm going to be so excited. I want to plan to go to my local 'Best Buy' right when they open on that Saturday (October 20th) and if they have a stand I'll hopefully be the first person to ask for it and they better let someone (like me) have it. Otherwise it'll just get recycled. :/

The big price killer with these cameras is the film and the photo sheets That's annoying too.  I haven't found the price of the special Taylor sheets. I would buy (maybe not right away) a few of them to just keep as collector's items and I would maybe buy one package to use sparingly. I would likely just take pictures of some Taylor things I own like pictures of her to display them. I would likely use the regular plain white sheets if I used the camera regularly but I know I won't use it a whole lot as it costs to buy the sheets. |

Is it just me or does Taylor seem a little grumpy or not completely happy in the 'Instax' videos and the photoshoot? I guess she's trying to be serious. It would've been nice if she sort of smiled in some of the pictures.

I can just imagine the number of packs of polaroid film they went through on the 'Reputation Tour'. They took polaroid pictures of you (one per person) at the 'Fujifilm' booth at the two different set or backdrop things and it was free. I can just imagine the bill for one concert. Probably a few thousand fans go through those booths each night and you get one film per person so that'd be thousands of films and you get 10 in each pack of film which are like $12 a piece in U.S. dollars.
