I should've posted this on the day of, but on Friday I talked in front of my class for a course of mine and I guess I'm proud of myself. We were having a case study thing on cannabis as its legal here now in my 'Cancer Cell Biology' class and it was supposed to be a debate and someone from our group or a few of us would go to the front to say our opinion and we'd go in order with one group being for it then one against it and so on. We were pretty much the last group which annoyed me as I wanted to get it over with. But at the start of the class I felt nervous and didn't want to talk but I started to think about it and I sort of got a little bit of confidence and I said I could talk or say a few things in our group as I had some good points I found online I thought. A few of us talked thankfully (three out of four of us) and I didn't think I was going to get to talk but I did at the end. I was worried I wouldn't get to talk or say something as we were timed to have 2 minutes to talk each time and two of the other girls were talking at the start and went back and forth. I was only really motivated to talk as 15% of your mark in the course is from "participation" and I've emailed and talked to the (nice) professor before about it and she knows I'm shy and quiet, so I really hope she took notice how I talked in front of the class. When I talked to her in her office the one time I said I don't like talking in front of people, so she better give me a good mark for participation at the end of the term. I know we need to participate the whole term and you can participate in your group and when we submit questions for the test bank thing, but she better remember that I talked in front of the class which is usually hard for me.

I actually offered to drive to my grandparents’ house today. (and parked next to my uncle’s van without hitting it!) I also drove us to Walmart without (hopefully) causing an accident. c:

(i know it's jigsaw spelled backwards but...) Theyre a company that makes jigsaws but like extra puzzling ones. For some, you’re given an image and then the jigsaw you have to put together is a different image that’s from the perspective of one of the people in the first image. For others you’re given an image and then you have to put together an image of what might have happened next. You basically have to use your imagination to solve them so they’re a fair bit harder than regular ones.

done some online where the picture changes... or the pieces start out all one color then change to the picture they're supposed to have when connected to another piece...
i do enjoy my puzzles:)

I fried potatoes all by myself yesterday and I was very proud because it turns out I do know how to cook something that doesn’t come out of a box or have directions.

I finally changed the water for my fish and I’m so relieved. I wasn’t sure how to do it so I kept putting it off and it was starting to worry me.

I think I'm on top of things with school. I think I sort of have a better handle of things more than I have in the past. And I'm taking 6 courses per term this year. I took 4 per term my first year, 5 per term in the second year, and 6 per term in my third year (now). I won't be taking 7 per term next year lol.
Usually like last year I've felt really stressed at times, but I think I've gotten better at managing my time. Especially considering I've added one more course per term each year and I have an overload this year with 6 per term. I feel like I'm mostly on top of things as I look at what I have coming up like tests and assignments and I've tried to look at my notes and create study notes for tests earlier than I have in previous years. Sometimes before I'd only look at my notes two or one day before the tests, but I've sort of started to do it a week before for some of the tests.
